Boxing in the world: according to German media, Klitschko will still have an impact on world boxing
The German press believes that Wladimir Klitschko will box and influence world boxing for a long time to come. All boxers will experience the experience of the Ukrainian ex-champion, a legend in the history of heavyweight. At least that’s what the famous Sueddeutsche believes.
Ten years ago, Vladimir Klitschko defended his title in a fight with Eddie Chambers. It was an exciting fight, but over the following years the Ukrainian had no serious rivals. All battles took place in an unpredictable scenario.
Recall that on February 22 in Las Vegas, Deontay Wilder will fight with Tyson Fury, and this battle will be exciting and unpredictable. Wilder boasts punching power, and Fury has a cunning and competent battle strategy. The winner of this fight will have to fight with Anthony Joshua, who is the world champion in the version of 3 associations. German media recalled that it was precisely Vladimir Klitschko who was the mentor of Joshua. So if he does not return to the ring, his influence on world boxing will be noticeable for many years to come. But Vladimir himself does not deny that he can return to the ring!
Earlier in the news of professional boxing, we wrote that world lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez told us what his rivals usually think of him.
Professional boxing: Taras Shelestyuk’s next rival is already known
Ukrainian welterweight boxer Taras Shelestyuk (17-0, 10 KOs) already knows with whom he will fight on January 31. This will be the Mexican Alejandro Davilo (19-1-2, 7 KOs).
The bronze medalist of the 2012 Olympics will enter the ring at the Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in the American city of Shreveport. The fight will take place as part of the evening of boxing from the ShoBox: The New Generation series.
Recall that in a previous fight, Shelestyuk defeated Mexican boxer Martin Angel Martinez. The battle took place on March 9, 2019. Although there was no knockout, the victory remained with the Ukrainian by unanimous decision of the judges.
